Google / Analytics / Advertising Disclosures
If you use Google Analytics, Google AdSense, or other Google services on your Website, you must disclose their usage and how they collect/process data. Here is a sample disclosure to include (e.g. in your Privacy Policy or a separate “Google Disclosures” page):
Google Services & Data Use Disclosure
We use Google Analytics to analyze usage of our Website. Google Analytics collects information about your visits, such as your IP address, device and browser type, pages visited, and time spent. This is used to generate reports about how users navigate the site.
Google’s use of this data is governed by Google’s Privacy Policy and terms: “How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.”
If Google AdSense (or other ad services) are used, third parties may place cookies or web beacons on your browser and read or set cookies. We do not have direct access to or control over those cookies.
You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on or by disabling cookies in your browser.
For more information, refer to Google’s privacy & disclosure pages.
You may also need to comply with Google’s Data Disclosure policies (as a publisher or developer) in disclosing how third-party ad networks or analytics services process user data.
Next Steps / Recommendations
- Review and tailor each section to your school’s actual practices (e.g. exact refund deadlines, payment methods, contact details).
- Ensure consistency across all policies (Terms, Privacy, Cookies, Payment, etc.).
- Publish these policies in accessible places on the Website (e.g. footer links).
- Present a cookie consent banner / mechanism so that users can consent before non-essential cookies are placed.
- Keep version history (“Last Updated” dates) and periodically review and update.
- Engage a legal advisor (especially one familiar with Indian education / data protection law) to validate final drafts.
